Armada.gold is not a bullion trader but a peer-to-peer bullion marketplace that lets private individuals buy and sell gold and silver directly — without the high premiums charged by traditional bullion dealers or the steep commissions of auction platforms.

Why we exist:

If “gold is money,” it should be easy to convert between gold and fiat currency without losing value to excessive dealer markups. Yet today, many bullion producers and retailers sell small gold bars at premiums of 30–35% above the gold price or spot price, while buying them back at -1% below the gold price or lower. For silver, the premiums are even higher.

For private individuals, the only real resale options have long been classifieds sites or auction platforms. Classifieds attract risk, scams, and unreliable buyers. Auction sites like eBay or Catawiki charge commissions of around 15%, and force you to wait days while outbidding other buyers. Neither option allows you to link your listing to the live gold price — even though the value of money should not depend on an auction.
